Description
SEP-700™ is a revolutionary product in the cleaning, maintenance, and remediation of commercial, industrial, and residential septic systems. SEP-700™ utilizes biotechnology through natural bioremediation to literally “eat” Fats, Oils, & Greases (FOG), starches, and lipids from septic systems including hydrocarbons such as petroleum-based chemicals (motor oil, grease, diesel fuel, gasoline, solvents & herbicides).
SEP-700™ contains special bio-nutrient compounds to accelerate the bioremediation process and render the polluting compounds into carbon dioxide (CO2) and water. When used in a routine maintenance program, it will maintain a safe and clean environment, improve and open drain lines, control odor, and remediate hazardous hydrocarbon pollutions in septic and wastewater systems. Bioremediation is a naturally occurring process where micro-organisms destroy or detoxify organic and inorganic contaminants in the environment. The US Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) lists bioremediation as an innovative process that can be accomplished onsite, thereby eliminating the need for costly and hazardous “off-site” contamination treatment.
SEP-700™ is approved by the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority (MWRA) for use in their systems to break down greases in the holding tanks, pumping stations. Cities and towns using MWRA system include Cambridge, Natick, Brookline, Revere, Quincy, Boston, Somerville, Watertown, Woburn, Reading, Stoneham, Chelsea, Marblehead, Newton, Belmont, Needham, Dedham, Wellesley, Hingham, Canton, Hingham, Walthan, Peabody, Lynnfield, Wakefield, Saugus, Lexington, Weston, Worcester, Framingham a total of 46 cities and towns.
